You will find the art of enjoyment not only mounted on the walls. The KMKSA also offers a culinary and bibliophile experience. With a well-appointed reading room and a high-quality museum restaurant.
Reading room of the library and archives
The KMSKA holds a considerable collection of publications and archives. You can consult some of these in the reading room: books, catalogues, magazines, articles, etc. We cannot wait to show you the new architectural reading room in the museum. But for now we would like to invite you to visit our temporary reading room on the Kievitplein.
Savour the inspiring setting of the museum café, after (or before) your visit. The menu features fine treats, well-prepared lunches and artful menus. With, of course, a fine selection for children. You can also enjoy a coffee or tea with accompanying delicacies. Want to be sure of a seat? Then best to book in advance. The café and shop are accessible during the museum's opening hours. You do not need a museum ticket. So feel free to drop in.
Museum shop and coffee corner
The museum shop is a place to linger and wander for a while. Amidst qualitatively illustrated bibliographies and beautiful art books. Among artful objects for your desk or your interior. And among creative stories to read aloud that inspire children's dreams. You will find fun gifts, original cards and creative gadgets. And of course great souvenirs to remember a beautiful day in The Finest Museum. Located in the rear is a cosy coffee corner offering a fine selection of coffee, tea, soft drinks and treats.
