KMSKA LATE - De Vallei
(an apocalypse) - FULL
Category:

Performance will be in Dutch.
Hans Op de Beeck and Dirk Roofthooft's The Valley (an apocalypse) is a tale of decay, memory and detachment. The performance returns to KMSKA LAAT and ties in seamlessly with Op de Beeck's solo exhibition Hans Op de Beeck: Nocturnal Journey.
In the center of a small arena stands a man. He brings an unlikely life story, a testimony of a journey through an extinct valley where a society is living its last days. Love and death intertwine, beauty and transience become one
Written and directed by Hans Op de Beeck, the piece is brought to life by actor Dirk Roofthooft. In a style that blends the poetic and the everyday, he takes the audience into a rhythmic flow of images and memories. A story that feels as recognizable as it is alienating.
At KMSKA LATE,immerse yourself in this powerful narrative and experience how Op de Beeck’s visual world extends seamlessly into language and theater.
