Online Scholarly Catalogue

The initiative for this Online Scholarly Catalogue (OSC) is supported widely throughout the museum as an opportunity to highlight scientific research. As a scientific institution, we are committed to facilitate information and reusability.

Ensor Research Project

KMSKA aims to establish itself as the leading knowledge and information centre on James Ensor. With 39 paintings and more than 600 drawings, the museum houses the largest and most diverse collection in the world. For each work of art, the scholarly catalogue aims to provide an insight into the ongoing research in terms of art history and material technology, supported by various research techniques.
