Inleiding
The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA) is committed to making this website and relevant mobile applications accessible in accordance with the Act of 19 July 2018 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

Based on a recent accessibility audit conducted by Leap Forward, several areas for improvement were identified. These have been compiled into a list of remediation tasks, some of which have already been resolved, while others are still being addressed.

- Form elements provided with accessible names.
- Improved structure of headings and landmarks.
- Alternative texts added to decorative and functional images.
- Contrast issues between text and background resolved.
Ongoing Improvements
The following issues are currently being addressed:
- Improving keyboard navigation for interactive components.
- Correct use of ARIA attributes.
- Restructuring of tab order on certain pages.
- Removing hidden elements that can incorrectly receive focus.
- Optimizing error messages in forms.
