KMSKA LATE - Artist talk - Hans Op de Beeck
Category:

From March 22 to August 17, the exhibition Hans Op de Beeck: Nocturnal Journey will be on display at KMSKA. The visual artist has created an immersive journey through a fictional, mysterious place—a dark and enigmatic evocation of a deserted nighttime park. In this world, figures, still lifes, objects, animals, architectural structures, and natural elements blend together to form a dreamlike, unsettling landscape.
Op de Beeck’s work primarily consists of sculptural installations, but in recent years, he has also established himself as a master of video, animation, and drawing. He has created large-scale scenographic designs for theater and opera and has presented major solo exhibitions internationally, from Europe and the United States to Japan. His work is represented by five leading galleries, including Galleria Continua and Templon New York.
The artist will give a lecture on the exhibition at KMSKA LATE in Dutch.
