The A Red that Sings exhibition is a celebration of colour. That’s why KMSKA wants to give colour-blind visitors the chance to recognise more colours and experience them more intensely. At the info desk, you can borrow a special pair of glasses developed by EnChroma.
Good to know: These glasses don’t work for everyone with colour blindness. EnChroma glasses are suitable for red–green colour blindness. Within this type, there are different forms and degrees, and depending on that, visitors may experience more or less effect. It also takes a few minutes to adjust to the new impressions.
With thanks to: The EnChroma clip-ons are made available to the museum by Optiek Casteur.
Practical information
The museum has a limited number of glasses available: one pair for adults, one for children, and one clip‑on model. If you’d like to try them out in the A Red that Sings exhibition, you can request them at the info desk for the duration of the show.
