Art Camp - Beyond Words
Category:
Date:
From 05/04/2027 to 08/04/2027
What can an image express that words cannot?
Can you tell a story without speaking? Can you show emotions without naming them? And how do artists make us laugh, think or wonder using nothing but images?
During this art camp, we will explore the exhibition Folly Beyond Words and set off on a journey through the entire museum. We will encounter unusual characters, unravel hidden stories, and discover how artists have visualised ideas, dreams and emotions for centuries. Through painting, clay, printmaking, theatre, movement and large collaborative artworks, we will experiment with visual storytelling ourselves.
At the KMSKA art camps, play, wonder and creativity take centre stage. We introduce children to art in an engaging and playful way, while encouraging their creativity through a wide range of materials and techniques. Our programme goes beyond the visual arts alone: drama, music, movement and other creative disciplines are all part of the experience. We focus on the diverse talents and skills of every child, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience success and enjoyment.
