Art Camp - The artist's lab

The artworks in KMSKA tell many fascinating stories… But sometimes the artists simply wanted to experiment, like scientists in a lab, with light, colour or form. During this 4-day art camp, we dive into the artworks and the imagination of the artists. One day we make colour filter glasses and our own paint in all kinds of colours, the next day we tell fantastic stories in a self-built landscape or capture the poetic light in the museum galleries through photography. We explore all the emotions we feel when looking at the different artworks in the galleries and create lots of our own work.

During the KMSKA art camps, play, wonder and creativity take centre stage. We let your child enjoy the artworks in a playful way and stimulate creativity by working with many different materials and techniques. We do not limit ourselves to the visual arts; drama, music, movement, etc. are also included. We focus on children’s different talents and skills, so that every child can have a successful experience. Does your child have specific needs?
