Date:

Throughout the entire autumn holiday

Go on an adventure through our collection every day during the autumn holiday. Each afternoon, explore the museum galleries with a guide or get creative yourself in the Open Studio.

Atelier BOX

Discover the museum in a whole new way during this creative workshop: come and redesign our galleries! Using cardboard boxes, create your own spaces, corridors and structures among works by famous artists. Shape your own space and make something unique! We take inspiration from the temporary exhibition Ossip Zadkine and Belgium.

  • For children aged 6 and up
  • Gallery Evil
  • Daily from 3 to 5 pm
  • 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 November

Family Trail

Go on a treasure hunt through the museum together and discover surprising details in our paintings. With a search sheet in hand, children and their families explore the galleries in search of vegetables, fruit and other treats hidden in the artworks. Along the way, fill the cornucopia with your drawings. Look closely, search carefully and be amazed by everything there is to discover at the KMSKA.

  • 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 November
  • Daily, drop in anytime
  • From age 4

Open Studio: Philip Aguirre y Otegui

In this Open Studio, create your own balanced sculpture. Like Philip Aguirre y Otegui, make something that seems to defy gravity. Shape or build different forms and then try to balance them. Create a seesaw, a pair of scales or a lever, for example, and make your sculptures balance.

Artist Philip Aguirre y Otegui believes that art can help reduce social inequality. In this Open Studio, you can get involved yourself and discover how art can bring people together.

  • 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 November
  • 2–4 pm
  • All ages
