Guided tour for blind and visually impaired visitors - Ossip Zadkine and Belgium
Category:
Date:
17 March 2027 from 11:00 to 12:30

Every quarter, KMSKA offers a guided tour that allows blind and visually impaired visitors to discover the museum step by step alongside an experienced guide.
In March 2027, we will explore the temporary exhibition Ossip Zadkine and Belgium together.
Ossip Zadkine (1888–1967) was a Franco-Russian sculptor and one of the leading innovators of modern sculpture. Although he gained international recognition from his base in Paris, the foundations of his career were laid in Belgium. Zadkine himself even wrote that the Belgians were his first admirers.
Together with guide Maïka, you will discover Zadkine’s multifaceted oeuvre, complemented by works by his wife, Valentine Prax, as well as by Belgian contemporaries and students. A selection of artworks will be vividly described by our museum guide, and you will also have the opportunity to explore certain materials through touch.
Join us as we discover Zadkine’s visual language, rich in inner strength and emotion.
