Workshop - Gelli printing

How can simple shapes and lines give a work of art power and rhythm? During this workshop, we’ll explore the museum’s collection together.

Together with artist-tutor Griet Verschueren from Atelier Pium, you’ll look at how artists use shapes and lines to create composition, movement and atmosphere. Afterwards, you’ll get to work with Gelli plates and create playful monoprints. By printing and combining, you’ll produce surprising images in which line, shape and chance play a leading role.

No experience is necessary, just curiosity and a desire to experiment.
