AAP meets KMSKA
On 4 October, World Animal Day, KMSKA and AAP vzw are joining forces for AAP meets KMSKA. A warm day where art, animals and stories bring people closer together. Because an artwork can sometimes be more than something to look at. A dog can be much more than a wonderful four-legged friend. And a museum square is not just a place to walk past. Each of them can be the beginning of an encounter.
From 10 am to 4 pm, the museum square will become a lively meeting place, with plenty of good vibes, enjoyable activities and surprising moments for dog lovers, art lovers and curious visitors.
Walk, taste and meet
Have a stroll with your dog through the museum garden during a special culinary walk. Along the way, you will discover the art and nature around the museum, while your dog is surprised at various stops with unique flavours and treats. The culinary walk is a paid activity. The proceeds go to AAP vzw and help make special encounters between people and animals possible.
Discover art created with dogs
Artist Miete Vanvoorden created an artwork together with dogs. An artistic encounter between people, animals and material, in which each dog literally leaves its mark. The artwork will be on display during AAP meets KMSKA. Afterwards, it will be divided into small, unique artworks that will be sold in support of AAP vzw. This way, you will not only take home a piece of art, but also help make new encounters between people and animals possible.
Come to the meeting square
The square in front of the museum becomes a warm and lively place where people, animals and stories come together. Sit down, soak up the atmosphere and discover activities and surprising interventions by AAP and various partners throughout the day. You can meet people and dogs there, take a break or simply enjoy everything happening around you. The full programme will be announced later. You do not need to be an art connoisseur or a dog expert. You do not even need to bring a dog. Come and look, walk and meet.

- Activities on Museumplein and in the garden are free. The culinary walk is paid. Activities in the museum are free with a valid ticket.
