On Children’s Art Day, there’s plenty to discover and experience at the KMSKA. Explore the museum, discover art in a playful way and get creative yourself. A day full of looking, making and discovering for little and big art lovers alike.
Theater de Spiegel - LUMEN
For the youngest visitors, Theater de Spiegel presents a brand-new show that takes you on a journey immersed in light.
- For children aged 0–3 and their families.
- Performances at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 3 pm and 4 pm.
- A free ticket is required for this performance.
Atelier BOX
Discover the museum in a whole new way during this creative workshop: come and redesign our galleries! Using cardboard boxes, create your own spaces, corridors and structures among works by famous artists. Shape your own space and make something unique! We take inspiration from the temporary exhibition Philip Aguirre y Otegui.
- For children aged 4 and up.
- Drop in anytime between 10 am and 6 pm.

Open Studio
Drop by the Open Studio, a creative space where you can get hands-on and make your own artwork. From 2 pm onwards, explore the stories behind our artworks with our studio guide and create your own storytelling theatre. Push your creative boundaries in our studio. Because everyone is creative. And everyone has a story to tell.
