FALLA Imaginado
FALLA Imaginado is a project by pianist and composer Moisés P. Sánchez that offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the music of Manuel de Falla, blending tradition with a free, modern vision. Through personal arrangements and an original suite, Sánchez explores Falla’s work with a harmonic and structural approach influenced by jazz, symphonic rock, classical music, and French impressionism.
Supported by internationally renowned musicians — violinist Ana María Valderrama and double bassist Pablo Martín Caminero — Sánchez leads a trio in which each artist contributes a distinct and strongly individual creative vision. Together, they offer new perspectives on Falla’s multifaceted universe, embracing both his Spanish sound world and his lesser-known, more abstract European side.
FALLA Imaginado is an invitation to reimagine: a vibrant, deeply musical journey through the timeless essence of Falla’s artistic legacy.
This programme is organised in the context of the collaboration between KMSKA and Europalia Spain.
