KMSKA LATE – Still Life in Papier-mâché
Category:
Date:

Practical
During KMSKA LATE, young people from De Trappen will take over the museum. This activity is organised by Dawid Król, Kirsten Wieme and Isrâ Aabidi.
What happens when you literally step into a painting? The young people from De Trappen bring a still life to life with handmade papier-mâché objects, inspired by paintings from the Old Masters collection. Visitors can move and combine objects themselves to create their own composition for the painting.
This interactive installation invites you to look at art, composition and detail in a different way. There is no distance between visitor and artwork, but rather a playful encounter with the still life.
