Be surprised by a unique and varied program during The Finest Museum Night.

Programma

7 PM – 1 AM | Madonna Pop-up Cocktail Bar
In the magnificent De Keyser Hall, enjoy music and colorful drinks from the pop-up Madonna Cocktail Bar and the bar in the museum shop.

7.:30 PM – 11:15 PM | KMSKA X YOUNG FASHION DESIGNERS Speed Tour
Young designers showcase their creations in KMSKA x Young Fashion Designers. Each design is a personal interpretation of a specific work of art. Think of a contemporary take on a story, form, material, emotion or technique. Fashion and art come together in unexpected ways throughout the museum galleries. The result is a bridge between centuries-old craftsmanship and new creative talent.

The Antwerp Fashion Academy brings together these young international designers. Their distinctive, avant-garde silhouettes come together in the KMSKA’s exhibition galleries. The fabrics, volumes and silhouettes engage in a dialogue with the timeless pieces in the collection, collectively offering a fresh perspective on a rich tradition of fashion, creativity and technical finesse.

A guide will take you on a tour of these surprising creations.

7:30 PM – 11:30 PM | Antony Gormley Open Studio

The Open Studio is an artistic space where you can express your creativity in your own way.

Be inspired by the artworks you saw in the museum or at the Antony Gormley exhibition, and push your creative boundaries in the studio. Because everyone is creative and has a story to tell.

The Open Studio is truly open to everyone: young and not-so-young, art lovers and art connoisseurs alike. The friendly studio guides will be happy to help you get started.

8:30 PM – 10:30 PM | Create your own KMSKA merchandise

Give your clothes an artistic KMSKA twist with the young people from De Trappen during this creative workshop. Be inspired by the iconic artworks from the KMSKA collection and design unique stamps and iron-on patches.

Bring your own T-shirt, jacket, tote bag or other piece of fabric and turn it into a personal artistic statement.

Don’t have any textiles to hand? The first participants will receive a tote bag to stamp and personalise on the spot (maximum of 100 available).

8:30 PM – 11:30 PM | Radio Bart

The Radio Bart presenters love art and are blind. But that doesn’t stop them in their quest for meaningful conversations. In this way, they help visitors to look at things differently and see more.

During Museum Night, Radio Bart will be stopping off at a few night-inspired artworks in the collection.

9 PM – 00:30 AM | DJ Sino

DJ Sino is a project assistant for the Trappen at the KMSKA and has remarkably good taste in music.

During Museum Night, DJ Sino will be spinning tracks in the De Keyserzaal that’ll have your feet moving faster than you actually intended. Expect a selection of tight beats, warm vibes and surprising sounds.

11:30 PM – 00:30 AM | Midnight Yoga & Sound

American yoga teacher Erica Lutes will be leading a yoga session in one of the museum galleries. Her mission is to connect and empower people. With Yoga & Sound, Erica will guide you through a series of poses enhanced by soothing sounds and the presence of the surrounding artworks. A calming and inspiring moment with a healing effect on mind, body and soul. Will you be joining us to relax?

There is space for 40 people at a time. A few mats are provided; if you want to be sure of one, it’s best to bring your own.
