Guided tour - 'VormWorm'

We’re going to explore the museum’s shape worms!
Through their creative exploration, the pupils discover how shapes form the basis of everything: from quiet, hidden shapes to striking and defining shapes.
Contents
There is shape in everything. Absolutely everything. But… can you spot them?
The pupils set off on a hunt. We’ll be ‘shape-hunting’ our way through the museum, looking for circles, squares and triangles that pop up everywhere: in walls, in sculptures, in paintings and perhaps even within themselves.
Together with a curious shape hunter, they set off on a journey past the old and modern masters. During their creative quest, they discover the voice of a shape. At first, it whispers and remains silent… until it really makes itself heard and reveals itself. Eventually, shape takes over everything!
As they look, search and explore, the children discover how shapes make up everything. Once you spot a ‘shape worm’… you’ll see them everywhere!
Purpose
Pupils discover how shapes work together to create an image.
