diverse dates and times

Every three months, the KMSKA organizes a special themed walk-in tour for people with dementia and their caregivers. Viewing art can have a particularly positive impact on people with dementia by stimulating the senses, exploring emotions and evoking memories.
Together with a museum guide, you will calmly explore a selection of carefully chosen artworks. The guide will help you observe and ask stimulating questions, creating space for an open and meaningful conversation.
The dementia-friendly guided tours are organised by the KMSKA in collaboration with the Alzheimer Liga Vlaanderen and Orion, the Antwerp regional centre of expertise for Dementie Vlaanderen.
