Diverse dates and times

Do you visit KMSKA on weekends or Wednesday afternoons? Then do drop in at our Open Studio, an artistic space where you yourself can get creative. In your own way.

Our Open Studio is truly open. For everyone: young and not so young, art lover and connoisseur. Our friendly studio guides are happy to help you on your way. This support includes specific needs (language skills, visual impairment, etc.). So do come and see what the Open Studio has to offer you.

Magritte in Words and Images

During the exhibition La ligne de vie, the KMSKA Open Studio is fully dedicated to René Magritte. This Belgian artist explored the mystery in everyday life, experimenting with ways to create a shock through words and images. Immerse yourself in his world and create your own idea book. Compose a scene in the photo studio and capture your surreal image on paper. Cut, paste, combine details, draw, write, and add color. Finally, give your book a unique cover using images from the museum collection. Bring out the surrealist in you!
