Presentation of the ultimate book for lovers of both art and gastronomy. In Chef d’Oeuvre, top chef Matthieu Beudaert takes us on a sensory journey through the collection of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA). As Artist in Residence, he draws inspiration from masters such as Lucio Fontana, Anish Kapoor, and Jean Fouquet, translating their visual masterpieces into culinary creations.

Line-up

With a unique combination of food pairing, gastronomic imagination, and art-historical reflections, Beudaert explores the intersections between taste and beauty, scent and sensation, color and composition in 40 new dishes.
With text contributions from Matthieu Beudaert, Samuel Mareel, and Thijs Demeulemeester, among others. Food photography by Piet De Kersgieter.

Bio
Matthieu Beudaert (1977) is a Belgian chef with a background in art history. His restaurant, Table d’Amis in Kortrijk, has been awarded a Michelin star.
