KMSKA LATE - STEAL
Category:

STEAL is an art installation custom-made for the KMSKA, allowing you to look through the museum wall. Created and realized by Mathijs F. Scheepers.
You follow Maja, who lost her daughter to her stepmother. She stands in front of Madonna by Jean Fouquet, determined to steal her daughter back. What follows is a journey into the meaning of possession, the traces of loss, and whether you can steal something that was once yours.
STEAL combines film, sound, and installation into a unique experience: what you see is real, what you hear makes you question it. Duration: 11 minutes.
DEKALOOG 3: STEAL is the third installment of the ten-part DEKALOOG by theatre collective SKaGeN. A visual and moral story about love, possession, and loss. Each Dekaloog takes place in a different medium: in a chat conversation, on the radio, in a museum, in a book, via social media, and on stage. Together, they form a single universe in which the characters intersect, influence one another, and sometimes lose each other. All information can be found at dekaloog.be.
