Guided tour - 'In de verf gezet'

Art tells a story. But which story? Or does the artist actually want you to come up with it yourself? What emotions do the characters experience? And the viewers? In other words: what does the artist want to highlight? A fascinating question, with no right or wrong answer. Speaking of paint… what is actually in it? And how is it made? You’ll find out for yourself.

The students dive into a work of art and explore the different stories through a comic strip and a tableau vivant. Together, they imagine what the artwork wants to convey. They delve into the wonderful world of colors and pigments. An interactive tour that ends in the studio, where they express their creative energy on a large scale during a colorful game!

• Duration: 2 hours
• Price: €105 per group of 12 students.
• This guided tour is only available in Dutch.
• 3rd to 6th grade
• Recommended for groups of 12 children. Maximum 15 children per group.
• Each group can bring 2 supervisors for free. If more adults join, they will need a regular ticket.
• Maximum of two groups at the same time.
• This tour also has a tailored OKAN version. We offer 50 free OKAN tours per school year for schools in Antwerp. Please indicate clearly if you want to book the OKAN version.
