Guided tour - 'Teken aan de wand'

The tour
Drawing begins with … looking. Looking carefully and looking differently. Armed with a sketchbook-as-laboratory, you explore the museum. To observe the building, the collection, and your fellow visitors. If you look closely, can you also see the masterpiece in Rubens’ preparatory sketches? And how do you see art? What does art mean to you? Show it with abstract signs in your own graffiti work.
This tour focuses on art as a collection of signs and on drawing. It also reflects on the meaning of art in your own life. Students experience firsthand that even a thousand words often aren’t enough to capture a single image… A tour that encourages critical looking. And above all, inspires a strong desire to draw.
